From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely appreciate your intention to create wonderful fanworks that include elements of our world!

On this page, you can find our policies regarding fanworks. As long as fanworks follow the guidelines elaborated upon below, you are more than welcome to continue work on your project, whatever it may be!

Disclaimer

In the context of these Fanwork Guidelines, the phrase ‘Derivative Works’ refers to derivative works using the IP of Heavenrend or content produced by the talents of Heavenrend.

• These guidelines do not grant a copyright license to any derivative works containing content or IP produced by Heavenrend.
• These guidelines do not grant a copyright license to any corporation or individual who intends to use derivative works for commercial purposes.
• These guidelines do not apply to content that does not include creative modification of the source material.

Guidelines

Please abide by the following guidelines regarding derivative works:

• Please be mindful of our talents and create content that they would find acceptable.
• Please do not create content that violates applicable laws and/or regulations, whether that be platform-based or otherwise.
• Please do not imply that your derivative work is endorsed by Heavenrend or its talents.
• Please do not use our IP in any context that would cause people to believe that the fanwork is official Heavenrend content.
• Please do not impersonate us or our talents on social media platforms.
• Do not use our content for commercial purposes without explicit permission from us. As an exception to this, individual fans are permitted to monetize web videos (such as those posted on YouTube) with advertisements, so long as those videos otherwise follow the guidelines set out by this policy.
